We are delighted to offer private cooking lessons taught by local chef Ludovic Nicod:
“It has been almost 20 years since my passion for cooking has taken me around France and beyond (including Corsica, Ireland, England). My journey has allowed me to taste and learn a wide variety of cuisines. In Corsica, for instance, I had the opportunity of working in a bio-vegetarian restaurant. My experiences there are still reflected in my interest in cooking vegetarian and vegan.
In August 2018, I arrived in the Périgord Noir as a chef at L’Auberge de Meyrals, which obtained the prestigious status of "Maître Restaurateur”. I have recently started working as a private chef at home. I only work with fresh and high-quality products, preferably organic and locally produced.
I offer cooking classes at Château La Carrière to groups of up to 4 people, at all levels, in a fun and friendly atmosphere. I teach different cuisines, ranging from traditional French to contemporary vegan. Classes are taught in either French or English.”
