Cycling

Anchor 1

A great way to discover the area is to take a bike and just cycle around, whether it is a traditional or electric bike. Or, if you are more adventurous, take a mountain bike in one of the many beautiful forests in the area. There are countless trails, many of which are documented online. A good website to start at is Dordogne MBT

The owners of Château La Carrière are keen cyclists themselves and are happy to share any advice on the best routes in the area.

If you cannot bring your own bike, there are a number of shops in the area that rent out different types of (electric) bikes.
