Château La Carrière is owned and run by an Irish-Dutch couple: Tanya McGilligan and Adriaan Waiboer. Before coming to France, Tanya ran her own boutique in high-end lady's clothes and accessories. Adriaan, an art historian specialised in Dutch seventeenth-century painting, had a successful museum career, curating several internationally acclaimed exhibitions.
